Kim Knight - Qi Gong Instructor, Auckland

Why learn Qi Gong

Training

Kim has been studying and practising Qi Gong since 2000.

Her first Qi Gong training was in the practices of the Universal Healing Tao, a school of techniques from Taoist Master Mantak Chia. She is also a fully certified Chi Nei Tsang practitioner, accredited by the Chi Nei Tsang Institute USA and Universal Healing Tao Thailand.

Kim teaches the foundation and some intermediate practices of the Universal Healing Tao, and has been a fully accredited Chi Nei Tsang practitioner since 2006 and full Universal Healing Tao instructor since 2007.

She is also an accredited Zhineng Qi Gong instructor, under the auspices of Master Yuan Tze.

Life experience

Kim spent the first 20 years of her career in travel, tourism, the film industry and corporate world. However, serious illness resulted in her having to leave work in 1995, and instigated a search for natural alternatives for healing.

After many years of trying over 100 different modalities, she came accross Qi Gong - it made such an immediate and dramatic difference to her health that she began studying the techniques in depth, and they soon became part of her daily routine.

Kim now works as a health educator and therapist working with people to recover from chronic illness and develop life.
